My m2n-e motherboard died a while ago and i had it replaced. but ever since i had it, theres alwais new error messages. Lately i keep getting this message Visit My Website . I have reset the system by removing the battery, clean out the fan, and completely wipe the hardrive with WipeDrive. I also reformat the system about 3 times today and the message appear After i install all the missing drivers ( from the CD that came with the motherboard ). I used Registy Easy to fix the problem, and it didn't help what so ever. Though i can see alot of LogUI files are incomplete in the WINDOWS file. Theres nothing wrong with the Window XP CD, i have two and both came up with the same result after installing. I also went to ASUS.COm and flashed the Bios with the latest Bios Update. The system keep on rebooting before the window appears. I can't even get into Safe Mode. I don't think this is a virus problem. I even called up Asus and all they told me was Update the Latest Bios and that should solve everything. I would be greatly appreciated if some one can help me out. thanks!

oh so i just figure out.. not to update the driver with the Ethernet cable attached. the error was actually a virus. so now how am i going to update the missing drivers without the internet? i have the CD that came with the board, but that doesn't seem to fix it. How can i update driver for the Network Controller, and Video Controller for the m2n-e motherboard without connecting to the internet? thanks

Hi asahh

1.: Did you OC your board and didn't reset the BIOS settings to the drfault ones BEFORE updating it?
2.: Why did you update the BIOS of your mainboard?
3.: ASUS Mainboards offer a so called ASUS CrashFree BIOS3 release which lets you get back on the last working BIOS release. Please refer to your manual how to use that function.
4.: Where's the ASUS device driver CD/DVD which was delivered with your board? Usually when updating the BIOS you do not need to update the device drivers. BIOS updates and drivers updates are completely different issues.
5.: What makes you sure it was a virus being in charge causing the problems? Sorry but if the board does not work, you can't tell us it was a virus messing up the computer.

Please reply to our questions here and we'll get back to you asap

Thanks and.... Welcome at GSFs <wink>
