Hi,
basically I was asked to scan and clean a computer of spyware and viruses. The computers running Windows XP Home.
When XP H is running on a system all (!!!) users on such a system have Admin privileges. Only if someone has made some changes of regular user accounts.

It has two user accounts , both password protected. Now the person who asked doesnt have admin priv but the other does.
Thats what I meant: in fact that we do not give any instructions how to "hack" a system you has to ask the Admin who choose this configuration. See, the owner of that system didn't protect the Admin account without a reason. Sorry we won't get into any trouble.

I did mind you log in via their password (with their permission) so I did have admin priv and therefore managed to install the spyware and a AV and firewall.I then just did everything via safe mode. Is there another way of getting the option off logging in to the admin account.
Again, that Admin knows how to take care of his system and he knows why he does so... and it looks like he does not want to install software on it without his permission.
Do you, your friend and the owner of that computer a favour: ask him/her directely and not trying to "hack" that system.
